Rabia Mahak Muhammad

Occupational Therapist

Rabia is an AHPRA registered Occupational Therapist who has many years of experience in working with children with disabilities, early intervention and Paediatrics, with different cultural backgrounds.

Rabia has completed Bachelor of Health Science/Master of Occupational Therapy from Western Sydney University. Rabia is ambitious about her field of OT and being able to expand onto her role. She enjoys working with people of all different cultural backgrounds and communities.

Rabia is experienced and passionate about collaboratively working with children and their families to support their ongoing needs. She is experienced in tailoring intervention based on each unique individuals to support their ongoing goals. Rabia works to support children in all environments including at home, school, childcare or at clinic/telehealth based on their needs and goals. Rabia is skilled in conducting initial, functional, home and school assessments to support each child’s therapy.

Rabia has experience in working with children with different disabilities or conditions including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, Myotonic Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability and other learning disabilities, and behavioural disorders. She has additional experience on working with people with mental health, neurological and behavioural based conditions such as Anxiety, Depression, Oppositional Defiance Disorder, and PTSD.

Rabia speaks English, Urdu, Hindi and Auslan (Australian Sign Language). Rabia has multiple of interests including cooking, photography, travelling, reading, and fine arts including painting. Otherwise, you’ll find her always around her family or friends.
