Dr Kumar Duraisamy is a highly experienced General Paediatrician committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and family-centred care for children from birth through to adolescence.

With a diverse international medical background encompassing India, the United Kingdom, and Australia, Dr Duraisamy brings broad clinical expertise across the full spectrum of general and complex paediatric care. His experience includes the management of neonatal and childhood conditions, developmental and behavioural concerns, and both acute and chronic paediatric illnesses.

Dr Duraisamy completed his basic Paediatric training in the United Kingdom, where he developed strong skills in Neonatal resuscitation, clinical procedures, and the management of complex neonatal and paediatric cases. He later completed advanced paediatric training in Australia, including extensive experience at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead and across multiple NSW hospitals, gaining valuable exposure to both metropolitan and regional paediatric practice.

Dr Dursisamy holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP), a Diploma in Child Health, and a Master of Public Health, reflecting his strong commitment to clinical skill training, preventive health, and population-based child health outcomes.

Deeply passionate about medical education, Dr Duraisamy is actively involved in teaching medical students, junior doctors, and General Practitioners, and holds a position as Conjoint Lecturer at Western Sydney University.

Driven by a vision to provide comprehensive and accessible paediatric care to families in the Macarthur region, Dr Duraisamy founded Kids Health Space - an unique, integrated service offering General Paediatrics, Specialist Paediatrics, and Paediatric Allied Health services under one roof, ensuring coordinated and holistic care for children and their families.
